Alexandre Cougnaud scored his first podium of the season in European F3 Open by taking third place at the end of the second race of the weekend in Jérez. The Frenchman could obtain a second top three on the green carpet following the first event where he took fourth place. Mason and Jones, the two Team West Tec drivers who achieved two doubles, in fact appealed their exclusion during the first race after a technical irregularity was noted on the single-seaters. The Thai Stuvik remains at the head of the Championship for the moment while Alexandre Cougnaud occupies seventh position.
