Author of the best lap of the Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium in 2'31"409 at the end of the first qualifying session of the weekend in the European Championship F3, the Canadian Lance stroll (Prema Powerteam) largely dominated their opponents by taking advantage of a lull in the weather. His closest pursuer, his teammate Maximilian Günther is at 1″270, while Ben Barnicoat (Hitech GP) and Nick Cassidy (Prema Powerteam) will share the second row.
Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing) will start the first race of the Belgian weekend in 13th position.
