Qualifying for Race 1 of the F3 European Championship at the Norisring will have been contested to say the least since the first three drivers are grouped into eight thousandths! Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke Motorsport) emerges victorious from the battle with a time of 48 achieved on the German circuit which allows him to be ahead by three thousandths Esteban Ocon (Prema Powerteam) while Max Verstappen (Van Amersfoort Racing) follows in third position with a tenth ahead of Tom Blomqvist (Jagonya Ayam with Carlin). Lucas Auer (Mücke Motorsport) completes the top five on the grid.
