For this sixth of eight rounds of the F3 Euro Series, it was the German Sven Müller who took pole position, valid for race 3 on Sunday. His teammates at Prema Powerteam, Raffaele Marciello and Daniel Juncadella, had to settle for 2nd and 4th places on the grid, Felix Rosenqvist (Mücke) slotting into 3rd place before going to the sidelines 5′ from the end of session. The Swede caused a red flag, but Carlos Sainz Jr, who came out quite strongly in the 11th minute, caused a first interruption. The Spaniard from Team Carlin will only start in 8th position on Sunday.

Sven Müller, author of the best 2nd time, will also start Saturday on pole for race 1, ahead of Rosenqvist, Juncadella, Marciello and Lewis.
