The championship leader Enaam Ahmed (Hitech GP) received a penalty of 20 seconds added to his race time after a collision on the first lap which resulted in the retirement of Robert Shwartzman (Prema Racing).

Originally arrived 2e, Enaam Ahmed is finally ranked 15e. This promotes Keyvan Andres Soori (Van Amersfoort Racing) to third place which gives Van Amersfoort Racing a first podium this season. Fabio Scherer (Motopark) enters the top 10.

At the championship level, the Briton lost the lead which he handed over to Marcus Armstrong for three points before race 3.
