Callum Ilott (Prema Powerteam) set the best time in practice F3 au Red Bull Ring (Austria). The Briton completed a lap of the Spielberg circuit in 1'23''423, more than a tenth ahead of his compatriot Lando Norris (Carlin) at the top of the Championship. David Beckmann (Motopark) completed the top three ahead of Joey Mawson (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam). Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam) is seventh behind Joel Eriksson (Motopark).
