Callum Ilott dominates first tries

The Briton Callum Ilott, lined up under the Prema Powerteam banner, dominated the first day of pre-season testing held on the Red Bull Ring in Austria. Ilott completed his best lap during the afternoon session in 1'23'304 and is ahead of his teammate Maximilian Günther, 155 thousandths behind the reference time.

Best time of the morning, Lando Norris (Carlin) finally ranks third in the cumulative ranking for this Tuesday, at 0″222. Guan Yu Zhou (Prema Powerteam) and Jehan Daruvala (Carlin) complete the top 5, while Harrison Newey (Van Amersfoort Racing) ranks ninth.
