Callum Ilott took pole for Race 1 in Red Bull Ring (Austria) by setting a time of 1'23''301 with a 16 thousandths lead over his teammate Maximilian Günther who gives the Prema Powerteam the front row.
Joel Eriksson (Motopark) took third position ahead of the Championship leader Lando Norris (Pug). Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam) took 15th place on the grid.
