Already best time on the first day of FIA European Championship testing F3 au Red Bull Ring in Austria, Briton Callum Ilott (Prema Powerteam) improved his benchmark this Wednesday by setting a lap of 1'22″950 during the morning session.
Maximilian Günther is once again the closest to his teammate within the Italian team by climbing into second position at 136 thousandths. Jake Hughes (HiTech GP) finished in the wake of Günther, 146 thousandths behind Ilott and two small thousandths ahead of Joel Eriksson (Motopark), the only representative of the contingent of single-seaters powered by Volkswagen in the top 11.
