German David Beckmann will continue his career in the FIA F3 International in 2019, by joining the French team ART Grand Prix.
Having completed the FIA F3 European Championship in 2017 with Van Amersfoort Racing and Motopark, then the GP3 Series this year with Jenzer and Trident, the 18-year-old driver will want to continue in the wake of a second half of the season marked by Spa, Monza and Sochi.
Beckamann took part in end-of-season testing with ART Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi. “David was ART Grand Prix's toughest opponent in the second half of the GP3 season, where he scored more points than any other driver, underlines Sébastien Philippe, general manager of the French team.
He made a name for himself with his speed and fighting spirit during races. ART Grand Prix also greatly appreciated his attitude and his technical feedback during end-of-season testing. »
