Two new poles for Mick Schumacher in Austria

Winner in race 1 earlier today, Mick Schumacher (Prema Powerteam) claimed two new poles at the end of the second qualifying session, determining the starting grids for races 2 and 3 of the weekend of Red Bull ring.

The son of the seven-time world champion F1 dominated the session by setting a best time of 1'23″170, beating his teammates Marcus Armstrong and Robert Shwartzman by 87 and 207 thousandths respectively.

The best second times also smiled on the German, author of a 1'23″225 sufficient to beat Shwartzman by 0″226 and Jonathan Aberdein (Motopark) by 0″263. Sacha Fenestraz (Carlin) will start from 7th and 11th positions for the last two races of the Austrian weekend tomorrow.
