Fenestraz and Schumacher set the tone at the Nürburgring

Sacha fenestraz (Carlin) set the best time in the first free practice session at the Nürburgring in Formula 3. With a benchmark of 1'21''262, he is a tenth ahead of his teammate Ferdinand Habsburg. Enaam Ahmed (Hitech GP) signs 3e FP1 time ahead of Jehan Daruvala (Carlin) and championship leader Dan Ticktum (Motopark).

In session 2, it is Mick Schumacher (Prema Racing) who set the best time in 1'20''719 ahead of Dan Ticktum. Alex Palou (Hitech GP) placed third best performer and ahead of Jonathan Aberdein (Motopark) and his teammate Ahmed. Fenestraz finishes FP2 in 8e instead.
