Ferdinand Habsburg will return to the FIA European Championship peloton F3 this season, and will extend its partnership with the British team Carlin. The Austrian, recently entered the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida) in IMSA with Jackie Chan DC Racing (5th at the finish), made his debut in FIA F3 last year and won his first success in Belgium at Spa.
Habsburg also came close to victory at the FIA F3 World Cup in Macau last November, crashing into the wall on the final corner after an attempted overtake on Sergio Sette Camara.
The 20-year-old completes the Carlin quartet for the continental series with Frenchman Sacha Fenestraz, Devlin de Francesco and Jehan Daruvala.
