Victor Martins (MP Motorsport) took pole position for the Sunday Formula race Renault Eurocup on the Catalan route in Barcelona.
The Frenchman waited for his very last attempt to snatch the preferential position on the grid with a time established in 1’42”705, 36 thousandths ahead of Alexander Smolyar (R-ace GP). Petr Ptacek (Bhaitech), best rookie, failed at 0″143, and will start on the second row alongside Alex Quinn (Arden).
The third row will be shared between Lorenzo Colombo (MP Motorsport) and the championship leader Oscar piastri (R-ace GP).
