Hingeley and Zhou set the pace at the Hungaroring

Hitech GP dominated first FIA free practice session F3 European on the Hungaroring track by placing its three drivers in the first three places in the ranking. Ben Hingeley established the best time in 1'36''524 ahead of Alex Palou and Enaam Ahmed. Marcus Armstrong (Prema Powerteam) is the best of the rest with a 4e place and ahead of the three Carlins of Jehan Daruvala, Ferdinand Habsburg and Nikita Troistky. Sacha fenestraz (Carlin) ranks 12e of the first session.

The EL2s are dominated by the Prema de Guan Yu Zhou which improves Hingeley's time by almost 0 seconds. He is ahead of his teammate Mick Schumacher while Daniel Ticktum (Motopark) slots in between the Italian single-seaters as Armstrong and Robert Shwarzmann complete the top 5. Fenestraz ends the session with 18e time.
