The Euroformula Open (former Spanish Championship of Formula 3) serves for the first time in its history as a headliner at the Grand Prix de Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) from May 17 to 19. The single-seater competition modified its entry list for the Béarnaise round at the last minute, with the defection of the three competitors from the RP Motorsport team due to engine changes. The only Frenchman registered in Euroformula Open, Pierre-Louis Chovet is therefore absent, like Artem Petrov and Javier Gonzalez.
