A renowned name in MotoGP will be present in Euroformula Open in 2019: jack doohan, the son of five-time motorcycle world champion Mick Doohan, will make his debut on a Formula 3 with the Double R Racing team. The season will begin in France, at Paul-Ricard (Var) on April 27 and 28. Spectators of the Pau Grand Prix (Pyrénées-Atlantiques, May 18-19) will also be able to follow the Australian, the Euroformula Open being the headline F3 competition in Béarn.

“The championship is gaining popularity with very good level grids; it’s a great option for drivers coming from Formula 4”, specifies Anthony Hieatt, the boss of Double R Racing. Jack Doohan, aged 16, is member of Red Bull Junior Team. He comes out of a British F4 season sanctioned with the Rookies title with three victories and a fifth place overall.
