Italian Lorenzo Colombo is the second recruit from the Dutch MP Motorsport team, after Frenchman Victor Martins, to compete in the 2019 Formula season. Renault Eurocup, which will come under regulation F3 European for this year.
Aligned by the JD Motorsport structure in 2018, Colombo had five podiums in its first year, including two consecutive at its home meeting in Monza at the start of the year before finishing 6th in the general classification.
The young transalpine had also been seen at the end of season testing in the GP3 Series in Abu Dhabi, already with MP Motorsport, but will therefore dedicate himself to the series promoted by Renault Sport Racing.
