Michael Belov will compete in Formula Renault Eurocup by finding the M2 Competition team. The 18-year-old Russian had already met the Belgian team while participating in pre-season testing in Valencia (Spain). He previously distinguished himself by winning the Formula Academy Finland in 2018 and finishing runner-up in the SMP F4 Nez the same year.
“I am very happy to take a new step in my career by joining the Formula Renault Eurocup with M2 Competition. We had a good experience testing in Valencia at the start of the season and I believe we can achieve good results in this championship. I want to thank SMP Racing for their trust and for this opportunity”, commented the new recruit.

The 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup season will begin on the weekend of July 12 in Monza (Italy).
