Mick Schumacher took his first pole position in F3 at Spa-Francorchamps in a particularly fruitful session for Prema. The Italian team in fact signs a quadruple led by the German driver who in the process beats the F3 track record dating back to Max Verstappen in 2'10''899 on a track that was still wet after occasional showers.

The son of the seven-time world champion leads his teammates Ralf Aron, Guan yu Zhou and Marcus Armstrong. The Englishman Enaam Ahmed (Hitech GP) ranks 5e in front of the Motopark of Jüri Vips and Fabio Scherer. Robert Shwartzman (Prema Racing) follows the two teammates while Ferdinand Habsburg (Carlin) and Dan Ticktum (Motopark) complete the top 10.

Guan Yuzhou takes pole for race 3, leading a Prema hat-trick ahead of rookies Armstrong and Shwartzman. Jehan Daruvala (Carlin) ranks 4e of Q3 ahead of Aberdein, Vips and Schumacher. The British Ticktum and Ahmed follow while Aron completes the top 10. Sacha Fenestraz (Carlin) will start 17e and 15e of the last two races of the weekend.
