Si Lando Norris avait précédemment annoncé qu’il défendrait sa couronne en Toyota Racing Series en Nouvelle-Zélande, le champion en titre de l’Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 finally decided to focus on its program in F3 European Championship where he will play with Carlin.
“I'm really disappointed not to be able to defend my title, but I still think it's the right decision even if it's a very difficult choice. I have to stay in perfect condition, whether physically or mentally, for the start of the F3 season. Being competitive remains my priority”, commented the Briton.
The European F3 season will begin on the weekend of April 16 at Silverstone (Great Britain) on the sidelines of the WEC.
