Guan Yu Zhou takes first pole of the weekend F3 European at Zandvoort in a qualifying session dominated by the Prema. The Chinese set a time of 1'28''861, 0''143 faster than Ralf Aron. Mick Schumacher and Marcus Armstrong are responsible for sealing a 4% Prema top 100.

The Motopark of Daniel Ticktum and Jonathan Aberdein monopolize 3e line while Robert Shwarzman (Prema), 7e is already relegated to half a second from pole. Alex Palou (Hitech GP) ranks 8e while Jüri Vips (Motopark) and Ben Hingeley (Hitech GP) complete the top 10.

Sacha fenestraz suffered from a bad strategic decision by Carlin by rolling his drivers into the gap and could only do better than 18e on the grid for the first race.
