Dennis Hauger (Van Amersfoort) and Gianluca Petecof (Prema) each dominated one of the day's two free practice sessions, at Vallelunga, for the final of the Formula Regional Europe. Hauger clocked the best time of the morning session ahead of Arthur Leclerc (Prema) and Jamie Chadwick (Prema). Championship leader Gianluca Petecof dominated Dennis Hauger and Patrik Pasma (KIC Motorsport). On the French side, Pierre-Louis Chovet (Van Amersfoort) set the 7th fastest times in both sessions.
