For this first official pre-season testing session of the European championship F3 at the Hungaroring, it is Mick Schumacher who was the fastest. The German from Prema Powerteam signed a 1’34”304, or 81 thousandths faster than Alex Palou (Hitech).
The defending Italian team is in great form with four cars in the top 5, Marcus Armstrong finishing 3e and best rookie of the morning ahead of veterans Ralf Aron and Guan Yu Zhou. The only Frenchman on the board, Sacha Fenestraz, places his Pug at 9e rank 0”494 behind leader Schumacher.
