Frederik Vesti (Prema) and Igor Fraga (DR Formula by RP Motorsport) won the weekend's races in Formula Regional Europe on the Red Bull Spielberg Ring in Austria.
Beaten by Vesti in race 1, the Dane also won in race 2, Fraga overtook the Prema driver, who started from pole, in the first laps of the third race to secure his first victory this season in the discipline after six victories consecutive games by Frederik Vesti.
The latter “only” finished third in this final Austrian round, beaten at the finish by Enzo Fittipaldi (Prema). But Vesti remains a solid leader in the championship against Fittipaldi and David Schumacher (US Racing) author of two podiums during the first two rounds of the Red Bull Ring.
