The organizers of the W Series championship, reserved for female drivers, and dominated in 2019 by the British Jamie Chadwick, have confirmed the allocation of points awarded in 2020 by the series for the FIA Super License.
The points to obtain the famous sesame essential to access the F1 will be distributed using the following scale:
1st place: 15 points
2st place: 12 points
3st place: 10 points
4st place: 7 points
5st place: 5 points
6st place: 3 points
7st place: 2 points
8th place: 1 point
“The allocation of FIA Super License points for the W Series is now identical to that of long-established and highly prestigious racing series such as NASCAR, Indy Lights, Formula Renault Eurocup and the WTCR, among others. » says Dave Ryan, the championship's competition director.
