Robert Wickens set the best time in the second qualifying session at Imola, Formula 2. The Canadian had not repeated the performance since the opening round of the season, in Valencia. He will therefore start at the head of the second race of the weekend, ahead of Mirko Bortolotti, Andy Soucek and Milos Pavlovic. Julien Jousse is only thirteenth.
