Juan Manuel Correa continues with ART Grand Prix in F3

Two years after his tragic accident with Anthoine Hubert at Spa-Francorchamps, Juan Manuel Correa is gradually regaining his former sensations alongside ART Grand Prix. This season, he will once again have the opportunity to take to the track in F3 with the French team, after having made a discreet return to the championship, to say the least, finished in twenty-first place with eleven units.

“I am very happy to stay another year with ART Grand Prix and build on our first season together, declared the American. 2021 has not been an easy season for me, with a lot of work done both on a sporting level but also with the rehabilitation and medical progress of my legs. »

“I feel like this season is an opportunity for me to start at a much higher level and get back to where I can be. I want to give a big thank you to ART and my partners for their continued support, I believe it will be a good year. »

For the main team of the team, Frenchman Sébastien Philippe, the renewal of the 22-year-old driver's contract seems logical, in continuation of what was perceived last year: “Juan Manuel has given positive feedback by integrating seamlessly into the team and progressing after missing a year due to this pivotal event in his career. His strength of character allowed him to rediscover his joy behind the wheel and to regularly fight in the top 10.”

Correa will line up alongside by Grégoire Saucy, FRECA champion in 2021, at ART Grand Prix this season. The third member of the team has not yet been communicated.
