Winner of the second race of F3 in Hockeheim, Jean-Karl Vernay underlined the importance of the first hectometers of racing:
« I got a good start, that's what allowed me to win. At the start, Christian (Vietoris), who was following me, was faster than me, but I was able to resist his attacks and maintain the lead. I then tried to get a little head start, and I succeeded. »
