Edoardo Piscopo was the fastest during the second free practice session on Friday in Valencia. With a time of 1:28.599, the Italian beat Philipp Eng and Carlos Iaconelli. Frenchman Julien Jousse set the 9th time at 1.241 sec. of Piscopo.
