Shortly after formalizing his move to F3 Euro Series at Prema Powerteam, (see here), Alex Lynn created a little surprise by taking pole position in the middle of qualifying session 2, after an initial exit at the last corner of the Angolan Sa Silva did not require a red flag. The Fortec driver's time of 2'13"122 leaves Antonio Felix Da Costa 2nd (2'13 Thursday).
After a red flag 8′ from the end, this time for the crash of the Austrian Lucas Auer, Daniel Juncadella climbed to 3rd place, but two and a half minutes from the end, a third exit, still in the Fishermen's corner, by Felipe Nasr, put an end to qualifying.
