There will be a Frenchman entered in the Macau Grand Prix F3. Esteban Ocon, holder of the Lotus F1 Junior Team, will be there at the wheel of the fourth Dallara-Mercedes of Prema Powerteam, driven this season by Italian-American Eddie Cheever Jr.
Ocon, who occupies 3rd place in the Eurocup FR 2.0 before the final in Barcelona this weekend, will have to take part in an F3 race before starting in the elite of international F3 in the Chinese city. As Carlos Sainz Jr, who is returning to the discipline for the occasion, he should be at the start of the British F3 Cup round at Snetterton on October 26 and 27. Ocon had recently carried out a promising test with Prema Powerteam on the Imola circuit.
