The German Signature-VW driver looks set to succeed Edoardo Mortara on the streets of Macau. On a dry track, in the second qualifying session, Marco Wittmann took pole position in 2'12, ahead of Roberto Merhi, author of 790'2, and Antonio Felix Da Costa (Hitech) in 12'854. The Spaniard from Prema Powerteam will have his work cut out for him in tomorrow's qualifying race, as he will have to try to recover the ten penalty places he collected yesterday.
Bottas (Double R) will start in 4th position ahead of Sims (Tom's), Nasr (Carlin), Magnussen (Carlin) and Rosenqvist (Mücke).
