Edoardo Mortara (Signature) set the fastest time in Grand Prix qualifying F3 from Macau. Initially scheduled for Friday, these qualifiers took place this Saturday morning. Edoardo Mortara was ahead Valtteri Bottas (Prema Powerteam) and Laurens Vanthoor (Signature). Jean-Eric Vergne (Carlin) ranked eleventh.
Mortara will therefore start on pole for the qualifying race. The ranking will be used to establish the starting grid for Sunday's race.
