Catalan Mari Boya is the first driver announced by MP Motorsport for the 2023 FIA F3 season.

Mari Boya enters F3 with MP Motorsport

At 18, Mari Boya will make her FIA debut Formula 3 in 2023. The Spanish driver has signed with MP Motorsport to open the Grand Prix of Formula 1. The native of Les, not far from the Franco-Spanish border, knows the Dutch team well having worked there in Regional Formula by Alpine (FRECA) at the end of 2022 as well as in F4 Spain in 2020.

“It’s a great feeling to know that this winter I will prepare for a vital new step in my career, moving to FIA Formula 3 with MP Motorsport. It's a really good thing to be able to do this with MP. Having worked so well with the team in 2020 and recent months, I had no doubt in signing with them for my FIA F3 debut. I'm really looking forward to racing in front of all the Formula 1 teams, and I can't wait to take part in the first round in Bahrain (March 3-5)! »

In 2020, its first season in car with us in Spanish F4 has been truly remarkable, and it made sense to welcome him back to our FRECA team during this season.
