At the end of the Masters qualifications F3, contested in two sessions, it was Alexander Sims who managed to set the best time and obtain pole position. He got ahead Valtteri Bottas, winner last year, and Marco Wittmann. The French Jean-Eric Vergne, Jim Pla and Nicolas Marroc rank eighth, tenth and eighteenth respectively.
