Tom Dillmann took a new pole position at the Sachsenring, the circuit which hosts the penultimate meeting of the German championship. F3 (ATS F3 Cup). For the grid of the first race, the French rookie from Neuhauser Racing placed his Dallara-Mercedes ahead of the VW engine of 2009 champion Laurens Vanthoor (Van Amersfoort Racing). The Belgian took his revenge in the second qualifying, with Dillmann securing the other place on the front row.
