Reshad de Gerus and Charouz separate

There are now only two French people in Formula 3. After the end of collaboration between Pierre-Louis Chovet and Jenzer Motorsport before the summer, it is the turn of Reshad de Gerus to see his Formula 3 season come to a grinding halt. The Czech team has indeed announced the replacement of the Frenchman and his teammate Enzo Fittipaldi at Spa-Francorchamps (August 28-29) by Hunter Yeany and Zdenek Chovanec.

Sergeant, only survivor of the team

No reason was publicly mentioned, but the Reunion pilot, whom we contacted, explained: “It’s really a shame it’s come to this, he regretted. Because I was learning a lot and making progress. Within the team, things were going really well. We had a big disagreement with the team's decision-makers, and from there, we decided with my entourage to end our collaboration. With the Czech team, the Reunionese did not score any points, and could not do better than 17th as his best result.

The Frenchman is already working on the end of the season. “I hope I can come back to F3 in Austin with another team and do this round, he told us. We are working on it. I also look into other series of car. " For their part, Hunter Yeany and Zdenek Chovanec will therefore team up with Logan Sargeant. The first mentioned is also American, he notably drove in Formula Regional Americas and Indy Pro 2000. Chovanec, who will drive under a Portuguese license, has had experience in Italian Formula 4.
