Second in the first race behind Joao Paulo de Oliveira and ahead of André Lotterer, then winner of the second ahead of André Lotterer and Loïc duval, Kazuki Nakajima won his second Super Formula title (formerly Formula Nippon) at Suzuka.
Penalized because he was accused of an early start undetectable to the naked eye, Loïc Duval (Kygnus Sunoco Team LeMans) took the checkered flag in 11th position in the first round. Frustrating as the Habs were so fast all weekend.
