Andy Soucek set the best time in the second free practice session in Oschersleben. The Spanish driver was a few thousandths ahead of his biggest rival in the championship, Robert Wickens. Followed by Julien Jousse, Edoardo Piscopo, Tobias Hegewald and Milos Pavlovic.
The drivers will return to the track at 17 p.m. for the qualifying session for the first race.
