Laurens Vanthoor (Signature), who was impatiently awaiting this round of F3 Euro Series on the Nürburgring, dominated the morning of testing in F3 Euro Series. The Belgian had the best time in two free practice sessions this morning. He set his best time during the second session, in 1:23:411, on the 3,629 km route. His teammate Edoardo Mortara set the second time, in 1:23:478, ahead of Valtteri Bottas (ART Grand Prix, 1:23:521).
For his return, Mika Mäki (Motopark Academy) set the eighth time (out of 14), in 1:24:099. The French Nicolas Marroc (Prema Powerteam) and Jim Pla (ART Grand Prix) ranked tenth and twelfth.
