Japan Race Promotion Inc, the promoter of Super Formula, announced this Thursday, October 29 at the Tokyo Motor Show that Yokohama will become the new tire supplier in 2016 in place of Bridgestone. The Japanese manufacturer had not equipped the single-seaters in the discipline since 1996 when it was still called Formula Nippon.
