Zendeli replaces David Schumacher at Barcelona
On the occasion of the third round of FIA Formula 3 on the Montmelo circuit near Barcelona (Spain, May 20-22), the German Lirim Zendeli will make his return to the Grand Prix paddocks. Indeed, the 22-year-old driver will take David's place Schumacher within the Charouz training.
Ralf Schumacher's son will be requisitioned at the same time by Mercedes during the second round of the German Touring Championship, the DTM. Lirim Zendeli finished the 2020 FIA Formula 3 season in eighth position before failing the following year in Formula 2 (17th) due to insufficient budget.
