The first special stage of the Critérium des Cévennes was interrupted after around fifty competitors passed through SS1 (the only time of the day) following a fight between spectators.
Guillaume Canivenq (Peugeot 207 Super 2000) is ahead of WRC Jean-François Mourgues (Peugeot 307WRC), victim of a power steering problem, and Patrick Henry (Peugeot 206WRC). Julien Maurin (Peugeot 207 Super 2000) follows in the standings ahead of Cédric Robert (Abarth Grande Punto Super 2000).
