Jaromir Tarabus (Skoda Fabia S2000) scored the first scratch in the final stage of the Barum Rally, eighth round of the European Rally Championship ERC in the Czech Republic. He is ahead of Tomas Kostka’s Ford Fiesta R5 by 1″1. Overall, Vaclav Pech (Mini JCW), 7th in this SS10, remains in control of the event with a 54″ lead over Sepp Wiegand (Skoda Fabia S2000) who is only 0″1 behind the leader. Tomas Kostka remains firmly anchored in 3rd position.
Robert Consani (Peugeot 207 S2000) no longer suffers from the vibrations felt the day before and retains its 6th place in the general classification. In Junior, Stéphane Lefebvre, victim of a puncture yesterday on his Peugeot 208 R2 which caused him to lose the lead in the category, regained the lead after this special against the Italian Andrea Crugnola.
