Robert Kubica signs his second consecutive scratch at the Rally from the Canary Islands with a time of 13'49"4 achieved at the end of the 21,18km of SS2. The Citroën DS3 RRC driver is more than 22 seconds ahead of the Peugeot 207 S2000 Craig Breen and by more than 26 seconds the Skoda Fabia S2000 of Jan Kopecky. Luis Monzon follows at 29 seconds in his Mini RRC while Jérémi Ancian is in fifth place in his 207 S2000 with 51 seconds behind.
Robert Kubica already has a lead of more than 37 seconds over Jan Kopecky after two special stages. Craig Breen completes the provisional podium, 46 seconds behind the leader. Luis Monzon follows the Irishman at 12 seconds. Jérémi Ancian completes the top five more than a minute ahead of Andreas Aigner's Subaru by six seconds.
