By signing the scratch in the third special stage of the SATA Rally Açores, the Irishman Craig Breen took the opportunity to take control of the event at the end of the first day. He is now ahead of the Pole Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) by 1″4 and the Portuguese Ricardo Moura (Ford Fiesta R5) by 6″2.
