Robert Kubica (Citroën) achieves a fourth consecutive scratch at the Rally from the Canary Islands with a choice of tires that did not satisfy him. The Pole is more than six seconds ahead of Peugeot de Craig Breen in the second pass of Mya-Disa while Jan Kopecky (Skoda) follows the Irishman by eight tenths. Jérémi Ancian is four seconds behind the Czech while Luis Monzon (Mini RRC) completes the top five.
Robert Kubica now has a 45-second lead over Jan Kopecky. Craig Breen remains on the provisional podium, one minute behind the leader. Luis Monzon remains fourth, 14” behind third place and 5 seconds ahead of Jérémi Ancian.
