SS9 of Rally of Ypres caused the loss of the Skoda Fabia of Esapekka Lappi, 3rd before this special, who went off the road. The crew is doing well, but hampered the progress of the two leaders Kevin Abbring (Peugeot 208 T16) and Freddy Loix (Skoda Fabia S2000), who should benefit from fixed times in this ES which has just been neutralized. Note another outing for Xevi Pons and his Ford Fiesta R5 and brake problems for the 208 T16 of Craig Breen. The general classification is currently confused following these events.
