After the qualifying special of Rally Liepaja in Latvia, the best performers chose to fall behind. Pole sitter Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) chose the last position behind Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) and Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Fiesta R5). Robert Consani (Peugeot 207 S2000) will not be too badly off since he will start from ninth place.
